Unopened, in date, non-perishable food

Dried and canned goods are used for our emergency relief services, cooking demonstrations, community events, and Christmas hampers.

Prizes for Fundraising

Are you a local business owner looking to give back? Donations of goods or vouchers enable us to run raffles and offer prizes at our fundraising events which allow us to generate the funds that keep the doors of the Network  open to the community.

Excess produce

Are you a local farmer, fruit and vegetable retailer, or home grower that has excess produce you’d like to donate? We welcome your donation of produce (even the odd-looking items) to be used for our emergency relief services, cooking demonstrations and community events.

Second hand clothing, household items, and Bric-a-Brac

The NicNak Shed relies solely on donations of second hand items to sell in the shop. These funds are used to support the Port Douglas Community Service Network Inc and the programs, activities and events that we run for the community. We also provide donated items such as clothes and sleeping bags to community members doing it tough.

Cash

Donations of cash are always welcome. If you wish to allocate your donation to a particular program or activity, you can let us know, otherwise, your donation will be used in the area that we believe it will have the most impact.
